The CABTEK Ex d / Ex eb certified Stainless Steel 316L Hexagonal Stop Plug (Blanking Element) is precision-engineered to permanently or temporarily seal unused cable entry holes in electrical enclosures, terminal boxes, junction boxes, and control stations. Designed for the most demanding marine, offshore, petrochemical, and explosive hazardous environments, it maintains enclosure flameproof integrity (Ex db IIC Gb), increased safety (Ex eb IIC Gb), and dust ignition protection (Ex tb IIIC Db).
Machined from solid, premium-grade austenitic Stainless Steel SS316L, this stop plug provides unmatched resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, saltwater, acids, and harsh chemicals. It features a heavy-duty external hexagonal head profile for effortless high-torque spanner tightening and achieves IP67 ingress protection when installed with a suitable sealing ring or thread sealant.
