Bi-Metallic Cable Lugs DTL-2 (16-12 to 630-16)

The Bi-Metallic Cable Lug (DTL-2 series) is engineered to establish secure, highly conductive, and transition-safe connections between aluminum cables and copper busbars or equipment contact surfaces. Manufactured using an advanced friction welding process, the electrolytic copper palm is molecularly bonded to the high-conductivity aluminum barrel, effectively eliminating galvanic corrosion and dissimilar metal reaction.

The aluminum barrel comes capped and pre-filled with an antioxidant contact compound to prevent aluminum oxide formation and lower contact resistance during compression. The solid copper palm provides a stable electrical interface compatible with standard switchgear, transformers, and distribution panels.
