The CABTEK Nickel Plated Brass Breather Drain Plug is an industrial-grade hazardous and safe area accessory designed to prevent moisture buildup inside electrical enclosures, junction boxes, switchgear panels, and terminal housings. It provides continuous drainage of internal condensation caused by fluctuating ambient temperatures while equalizing pressure and preventing moisture or dust ingress from the surrounding environment.
Precision-machined from solid high-grade extruded brass (CW614N / CZ121) and electro-plated with premium nickel (BNP), it offers superior corrosion and tarnish resistance in high-humidity, marine, and corrosive atmospheres. Fitted with an internal porous breathing element, it maintains Ex e (Increased Safety) and Ex tb (Dust Ignition Protection) integrity while achieving an IP66 ingress protection rating.
