The CABTEK Ex d / Ex e Metric Thread Adaptor is an explosionproof and increased safety thread converter engineered to provide a certified connection between electrical enclosures and cable glands or conduits with dissimilar thread sizes. It allows smaller male equipment entries to accommodate larger female connection devices without compromising the hazardous area certification of the installation.
Precision-machined from high-grade extruded brass (CW614N/CW617N) and available in natural brass or electrolytic nickel-plated brass finishes for enhanced corrosion resistance. Featuring a hexagonal body profile for high-torque spanner tightening, it delivers IP67 ingress protection and continuous earth bonding across demanding onshore, offshore, chemical, and heavy industrial environments.
