The CABTEK Nickel Plated Brass Male to Male Adaptor (Threaded Hex Nipple) is an industrial flameproof (Ex d) and increased safety (Ex e) cable entry component engineered to connect two equipment enclosures with internal female threads, couple female accessories, or extend threaded entries in hazardous and harsh industrial installations.
Precision-machined from high-grade extruded brass (CW614N / CZ121) with heavy-duty nickel plating (BNP), it delivers outstanding resistance against atmospheric tarnishing, saltwater corrosion, and harsh chemical exposure. It features an external central hexagonal body profile for high-torque spanner tightening, precision-machined ISO metric threads (1.5mm pitch), and achieves environmental ingress protection up to IP66/IP67 when installed with suitable sealing washers or thread sealants.
