The CABTEK SS2KGP Type Cable Gland in Nickel Plated Brass is a heavy-duty industrial explosionproof (Ex d flameproof) double-compression termination fitting engineered for all types of unarmoured and flexible cables in hazardous indoor and outdoor locations. Precision-machined from high-grade CW614N/CW617N brass with high-integrity electrolytic nickel plating, it provides exceptional resistance against atmospheric corrosion, tarnishing, extreme humidity, and chemical exposure.
It provides a certified flameproof inner displacement seal on the cable’s inner sheath and a secondary weatherproof outer displacement seal on the outer sheath, ensuring ultimate sealing security and environmental protection without cold-flow damage to the cable cores. Certified to ATEX standards with LSOH silicone seals providing IP66 ingress protection across wide operating temperatures (-60°C to +125°C).
