Ex d Flameproof Metric Thread Reducer | Brass & Nickel Plated Brass
The Ex d / Ex eb certified Thread Reducer provides a secure, flameproof connection between electrical equipment enclosure entries and cable glands or conduits having smaller dissimilar metric thread sizes. Designed for use in heavy industrial and explosive hazardous atmospheres, it maintains equipment flameproof integrity (Ex db IIC Gb), increased safety (Ex eb IIC Gb), and dust ignition protection (Ex tb IIIC Db).
Precision-machined from solid high-grade brass (CW614N / CW617N / EN12165) and available in Natural Brass and corrosion-resistant Nickel Plated Brass (BNP), it features precision-cut external male and internal female ISO metric threads (1.5mm pitch) with an external hexagonal drive profile for high-torque spanner tightening.
