The CABTEK Ex d / Ex e Hexagonal Thread Reducer is an explosionproof and increased safety transition fitting engineered to provide a certified connection between electrical enclosures, control cabinets, and cable entry devices having dissimilar thread standards. It reduces larger NPT male threaded enclosure hub entries down to smaller ISO Metric female connections for cable glands or conduit fittings, maintaining the integrity and certification of flameproof installations.

Precision-machined from solid high-grade extruded brass (CW614N / CW617N / EN12165) and available in natural brass or electrolytic nickel-plated brass for enhanced resistance against atmospheric corrosion, salt spray, and tarnishing. It features a heavy-duty hexagonal profile (A/F) for effortless high-torque spanner tightening and dependable earth bonding continuity. Certified to global ATEX and IECEx standards, it provides IP67 ingress protection against water and particulate ingress across extreme operating temperatures (-60°C to +125°C).
