The CABTEK Allen Key (Internal Hex Socket) Stop Plug is an industrial flameproof (Ex d) and increased safety (Ex e) blanking element engineered to seal unused threaded entries in electrical enclosures, junction boxes, switchgear panels, and control stations. Its flush-fitting internal socket drive design eliminates protruding hardware, minimizing the risk of snagging or unauthorized removal and ensuring a clean, tamper-resistant installation.
Precision-machined from high-grade extruded brass (CW614N / CZ121) and finished with heavy-duty nickel plating (BNP), it delivers exceptional resistance to corrosion, harsh atmospheric elements, and chemical exposure. Certified for Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas, it provides high-integrity flameproof protection (Ex db IIC Gb) and environmental sealing up to IP66/IP67 when installed with an appropriate sealing washer.
