Description
Heat Shrink Butt Connectors (0.5mm² to 6.0mm²) | G-APEX | Made in Taiwan
The G-APEX GBS Series Heat Shrink Butt Connectors (Waterproof In-Line Crimp Splices) provide the ultimate environmental protection and mechanical pull-out strength for permanent electrical wire splices. Specifically engineered for demanding marine, automotive, underground, outdoor lighting, and industrial applications, they combine a heavy-duty crimp barrel with a high-shrink-ratio adhesive-lined heat shrink sleeve that creates an impenetrable, waterproof, and strain-relieved seal around the cable jacket.
The internal crimp sleeve is crafted from seamless high-conductivity electrolytic copper (Cu-ETP 99.9%) and electro-tin plated to deliver high electrical conductivity, low contact resistance, and lasting resistance to corrosion. A built-in center wire stop ensures equal conductor insertion from both ends. When heated with a standard heat gun, the tough translucent cross-linked polyolefin outer sleeve shrinks tightly while the internal hot-melt adhesive flows and melts, hermetically sealing against water, moisture, oils, fuels, salt spray, and corrosive chemicals.
Available Sizes:
• GBS-1 0.5-1.5mm² (Red)
• GBS-2 1.5-2.5mm² (Blue)
