The Brass Hex Head Stopping Plug (Blanking Plug) provides a dependable, permanent or temporary closure for unused threaded cable entry holes in electrical junction boxes, switchgear enclosures, control panels, and terminal housings. By sealing open entry ports, it protects internal electrical components against dust, moisture, foreign contaminants, and mechanical ingress.
Precision-machined from solid high-grade extruded brass (CW614N / CZ121), the plug features standard ISO metric external threads and an external hexagonal drive head (A/F) for easy high-torque installation with standard wrenches or sockets. It provides superior mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, and ensures electrical earth bonding continuity when fitted directly to metallic enclosure walls.
