The CABTEK E1FW Type Nickel Plated Brass Cable Gland is an industrial explosionproof (Ex d flameproof) and increased safety (Ex e) double-compression termination fitting engineered for Steel Wire Armoured (SWA) and Aluminium Wire Armoured (AWA) cables in demanding hazardous indoor and outdoor environments. Precision-machined from high-grade CW614N/CW617N brass with high-integrity nickel electro-plating, it delivers superior resistance against corrosion, tarnishing, chemical exposure, and coastal atmospheric salinity while forming a flameproof inner displacement seal on the cable bedding and an environmental outer seal on the outer jacket, combined with a universal armour ring that delivers mechanical retention, superior EMC performance, and low-resistance earth continuity while preventing cable cold flow.

Certified to ATEX and IECEx standards with LSOH silicone seals providing IP66/67 ingress protection against dust, severe water jets, and submersion across extreme temperatures (-60°C to +125°C). Ideal for Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 21, and Zone 22 hazardous areas across offshore platforms, marine environments, oil and gas facilities, petrochemical plants, industrial switchgear, and hazardous distribution panels.
